Dartmoor

One of England's National Parks it can be reached from Paignton within an hour.

Rising to over 2,000 feet in places Dartmoor comprises of wild open moors with breathtaking  views over the splendid countryside. 

 

It is an ideal place to enjoy a walk over the moors and by the streams and then take a picnic  or savour a famous Devon cream tea that can be purchased from one of the inns.
